Hesperidin
Hesperidin is a bioflavonoid present especially in citrus, known for its strong antioxidant, capillarotropic and vasoprotective activity, which has facilitated its diffusion on the market as a vasoprotective agent.
This substance promotes the smooth functioning of blood vessels and helps reduce inflammation.
For this reason it is proposed to take it (alone or in combination with other bioflavonoids present in citrus fruits, for example diosmin) in case of problems involving veins, such as hemorrhoids, varices and circulation problems (the so-called venous stasis).
In addition, hesperidin is very useful in the treatment of lymphedema, a condition associated with water retention that can arise following surgery.
