Gran tea

Green tea (Camellia sinensis) is well known for its antioxidant action, it is useful for counteracting cellular aging.

The buds of the leaves and the young leaves of green tea contain the highest percentage of antioxidant principles found in nature, useful for counteracting the formation of free radicals, responsible for cellular aging.

The antioxidant action is mainly given by flavonoids and in particular from the catechines that help to support cardiac functions and contribute to the maintenance of a good state of health.

These substances also reduce the levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, thus exerting a protective action against cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease.

The synergistic action of polyphenolic derivatives (flavonoids, chlorogenic acid, caffeic, tannins) has a higher anti-degenerative property than that of the single active ingredients, confirming the thesis that the plant phytocomplex is much more active than the single components, isolated and purified.

The set of active ingredients, in fact, is able to protect brain cells from the typical damage of neurodegenerative diseases. Another interesting property ascribed to green tea is the slimming one, due to methylxanthines (caffeine, theobromine, theophylline) with an effect on metabolism: they have hypoglycemic action (reduce the absorption of sugars) and lipolytic action (favor the elimination of fats from adipocytes, by enzymatic stimulation).

These substances therefore promote weight loss by promoting the mobilization of localized fats in adipose tissue and their elimination for energy purposes.
