Resveratrol
Resveratrol, is a molecule with great properties and is obtained from the root of the Polygonum cuspidatum plant.
It is a substance with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant capabilities, considered capable of protecting blood vessels and intervening in the processes of cell cycle regulation and DNA repair.
Its main properties are:
- antioxidant
- cardioprotective,
- antithrombotic (inhibits platelet aggregation)
- decreases blood pressure (inducing vasodilation by hypotensive action, acting on nitric oxide)
- reduces cholesterol and triglycerides
- improves the microcirculation.
