Polygonum cuspidatum (Resveratrol)

Resveratrol-antioxidant

Polygonum cuspidatum (Resveratrol)

Polygonum cuspidatum is a plant native to East Asia, currently diffused in Europe.

Resveratrol, a phenolic derivative with great properties, is obtained from the root of the plant.

It has an antioxidant, cardioprotective, antithrombotic action (inhibits platelet aggregation), decreases blood pressure (inducing vasodilatation by hypotensive action, intervening on nitric oxide), reduces cholesterol and triglycerides and improves the microcirculation.

In addition, resveratrol is a real skin elixir for its application in cosmetology, to cope with the aesthetic signs of skin aging such as the appearance of wrinkles, marks and furrows, dehydration, loss of density and skin shine, often an anteroom of more serious functional disorders.

Polygonum cuspidatum and therefore also resveratrol are present in our food supplement RESVENAC (https://www.elisirlife.it/en/integratore-alimentare-resvenac-48-cps.html)
