Diosmin
Diosmin is a molecule of plant origin present especially in citrus, which belongs to the class of bioflavonoids, plant substances that exert various beneficial activities for the body.
It is proposed above all for its anti-inflammatory properties and to promote the proper functionality of the veins, for example in case of varicose veins, venous stasis to the lower limbs and gingival or eye bleeding.
In some cases it is also proposed to avoid toxic effects on the liver.
It mainly exerts a beneficial effect on microcirculation, lymphatic drainage and venous tone: it helps to protect microvascular permeability, improve lymphatic flow, reduce the diameter of lymphatic vessels and intralymphatic pressure and improve venous tone by prolonging the action of a particular hormone called noradrenaline.
In addition, diosmin is used together with other flavonoids, such as hesperidin, to enhance the beneficial effects and counteract many problems.
